This is all on Cheney, Rumsfeld, etc.
It is true that ISIS has been created on Obama's watch.
But don't you think the world would be a better place if Sadaam Hussein would still be in charge of Iraq? If those sickos had not lied to the American people?
Think how many Americans and Iraqis would be alive now if there had not been an invasion of Iraq.

BasqueLady,
You're absolutely right.
Saadam Hussein was a despot but at least he was one that we could control.

I miss the one million Iraqi civilians we killed.
I miss 10,000 US Soldiers and contractors we lost.
I miss the four trillion dollars we squandered.
I miss the reputation we had as a civilized nation before we stooped to mass murder and torture.
Sigh....

The seed and concept of freedom was planted. One or more female humans got the chance to be educated. It had to start
somewhere in the middle east.Freedom isn't free.
Thanx for the selfish un-American post.

How is this Un-American?
Please tell me about the seed of freedom, or about any freedom now in Iraq.
Did the Iraqi women get educated, or did they get stoned?
Do you perhaps live in Fantasyland?
Or, perhaps you meant to say that our only success in Iraq was to set the Middle East in flames?

All this comes under the heading --who knows-maybe - maybe not.

Yup, kinda like what Obama has done in Egypt, Libya and now in Syria! He never met a Muslim terrorist he didn't like.
That entire region was going to explode with or without us. ISIS is the problem now and you thank Syria in a large part. Let's see how Obama deals with that between rounds of golf.

I think you pay too little attention to your own John Wayne quote.
It may be more profound that you think, and more applicable, too.
