they have different surface mounts with sticky pads. which we use are own glue with.

I'm surprised you were able to adhere something to the outside of a moving aircraft. What kind of glue did you use?

we used a two part epoxy that with the glue remover comes back off but gotta do alot of clean up. it is easy if on a tail dragger an on nose gear if non retractable

Hi All,

I want to be able to view my photos on my computer as I take them. I know this can be done, but I would like to know if I need a special program to do it. How do I go about doing it?

Thank,
Joanie

Loanie,

I have a 40D. With a USB cable it can be tethered to a computer using Lightroom or the Canon software that came with the 40D. It's not too complicated. I think it took me about 30 minutes the first time to get everything working. Now it is just plug 'n play.

Because it does not appear to be a problem if you aren't wireless just use the USB cable that came with the camera. We do this all the time.

I am not so worried about being wireless/cordless. I will have my laptop, so I can have it near my camera.

yes, if you have a pc with windows 7 you can use the available windows photogallery (free download from microsoft) as your picture sorting program etc. Just pop in your memory card with pictures into proper pc multi-media slot and photogalleries will take it from there. And Enjoy!!

Insert little usb into camera large usb to computer turn on camera after doing this. Dpp starts and select 3rd menu item : camera settings / remote shooting, its a wonderful program that comes free with all canon dslr dont know about p&s....
