Tamron 150-600 and dragon fly

For those of you wondering about the quality of a Tamron 150-600. The original photo was loaded into Camea Raw with some clarity added, then into CS6 for some level adjustments. No added sharpening
(Canon T4i, Tamron 150-600 at 600 mm (35 mm equiv would be 952mm), 1/200 sec, f8, ISO 200)

That's a great shot! Tack sharp and uncluttered background. I shoot dragons and damsels almost exclusively for the county survey (60 - 200 at an outing). I use a Canon T3i, Sigma 50-500mm, 63 mm of extension tubes and a tripod. I came about that set-up shooting with some friends in your area. (Near the Austin Airport). You picked a great dragon to shoot. Halloweens are just beautiful.

As I mentioned before, this is a great sharp photo. With your permission, I can make this cropped photo better.
