Last night near sundown there was a pod of several dolphins working their way south about 200 yards out from the beach. It was too rough to swim with great waves and a lot of rip and back tow and lots of kelp in the water so my wife and I were wading and watching the hoard of surfers out in the waves. The dolphins which had gone out of sight to the south of us suddenly were right in the waves with surfers and swimmers all around them. Way fun to see, lots of jumps and acrobatics and silhouettes in the waves. I took probably 20 shots with my Sony bridge camera at 20x but only got a couple shots with dolphins in them. Needed to have Brent here. LOL

Thanks for looking and the compliment too.
Just found BrentHarder 's "the famous wedge" posting, I was sure he would be out shooting this surf. He didn't disappoint.

Thank you.
I nearly always have a camera with me at the beach and I've seen dolphins before this is the first time I've gotten them together. It's also the closest to shore I've seen them.
