I went in at 7AM for a lumpectomy and was home by 6:30. As far as I can tell everything was fine. The lump did grow in one week another 1/2 inch so it was a fast speeding bullet as far as breast cancer was concerned. But as far as being a little sore in my arm pit and a sore throat I'm doing great..I'm on the mend now and just waiting to see what pathology says. Here's to more picture taking...

I just saw this post! You must have done very well to have been released the same day. I'm surprised it grew in one week.

Mrs. Moses, I'm sure you'll be out taking pictures in the near future, as I indicated on the other thread, just take it easy. Did they give you instructions for exercising your arm? Start them as soon as possible. I've known women to have let their arm stiffen so badly because of the aches. It hurt much more to do them later. Our human body needs to be worked. The best of luck!

Good gal, I have ice bags galore here. I used to get bad migraines and have to use them but since I get botox for them, no problem.

When do you expect the lab to send the results back, Mrs. Moses?

It will be 9-2 when I see the surgeon again and she will tell me then about both tests..hoping for clean edges and no lymph node critters.

I hope you'll keep checking in Mrs. Moses to let us know how you are and the results. I see you have some animals that need you. :) Love your puppy!
