By the time he makes up his dopey mind, the terror groups will be crossing our borders here in the U.S.

I heard they made 14 airstrikes against ISIS after the James Foley exxecution. At least that is what they said on the TV news.

Before Obama will consider that type of action he will first insist on an environmental impact study.

Yes I know there have been some airstrikes but not nearly enough and not nearly as fast as they should have been done. He should have authorized strikes when ISIL was first coming across the desert.

People who love Obama say that he does do these things. Most of us though say he does them but he is a day late and a dollar short.

Dennis: Instead of just blaming Obama, why don't you also blame the leaders of other countries who are not doing anything about it? Are we the only county in the world who could do it? Isn't it better if they will join America in the air strikes? Our air strikes did a lot of damage to the Islamic militants weaponry reason why they killed James Foley as a retaliation. You must have loved John McCain and Lindsey Graham, who would jump right away and get involved without even thinking about the consequences!

First off, please don't lump me into what you think a Conservative Republican should be. I DO NOT like McCain or Lindsey Graham. Years ago they had their place and I am sure American politics owes much to them. However that time is long past. These days both of them cry loudly about Liberal policies but when the vote comes they vote right along with their friend, Harry Reid. Of course that is good for you but not for my thinking. Both can be voted out of office anytime and replaced with the likes of Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mia Love or Scott Brown.

Secondly, the reason I don't criticize other world leaders is because I don't belong to those countries.

You are right about one thing. Of course it would be better if all the free nations would stand together and fight ISIL and all other terrorists all over the world. I would love to see free nations go after not only the terrorists but the leaders of Somalia who encourage their people to pirate ships and hold the crew for ransom. I would love to have seen the free nations band together to help the people of Rwanda. I could go on but you see where I am going with this.

The problem with this is that the POTUS, the leader of America and the free world nations (by example) is usually the glue that gets these countries together. We don't have such a leader in Obama. Reagan was a leader such as that and though I do not have any respect for Bill Clinton, he was too.

I am an American citizen and I leave it up to the citizens of those countries to criticize their leaders. Besides even if I did criticize those leaders that still leaves me sorely lacking for a leader of America. Sorry but Barack Obama just isn't it. If he has not been on the cover of a golfing magazine he soon will be. As a leader he is lazy, (he waits for othrs to do it such as Putin interjecting with Syria over poison chemicals;feckless, (Obama just doesn't give a damn); uninformed, (aren't you also tired of hearing that Obama heard of some recent scandal from reading the newspaper); not willing to take a chance, (Obama could have initiated much tougher sanctions on Russia over going into Ukraine. Instead he put sanctions on 7 Russian leaders and not even Putin) and to top it all off is a liar (just with the ACA alone). He hasn't just lied to me but to you as well. You just refuse to see that, or worse yet, you excuse it because he seems to be putting the country where you think it should go.

America is not as good in many ways as when Obama took over. I have friends who are from Russia. They still have relatives there who tell them Obama is a joke in Russia and the surrounding countries. A joke! It pains me to say that because he is our President. Friends near London tell me the same thing. He is a joke there and has no respect from many places in the world. Now you can deny that and of course that is your right but let's say it is true. Just imagine. How does that make you feel? Our leader has no respect world wide. It makes me feel like shit to be honest with you.

I know he may be out there for some things but I would take him over McCain or Graham. Aren't they more Liberal and would meet your approval? I am not a hard right winger and generally lean toward the common sense sides of discussions.

We may meet somewhere (in the middle that is) yet.

Nooooooo, I don't like McCain or Graham and think they should be put out to pasture. Neither of them ever met a war they weren't crazy about...or just plain crazy!

Why not just elect George Soros. You knew that was coming didn't you? I have seen lists of donors and the Koch brothers are far down the list. They are also on lists of donors for both parties. But Liberals, knowing the truth, still trot out their crap lies thinking, as Liberals do, that if you repeat a lie often enough it magically becomes the truth.

Now tell me Liberals are joking when they bring up the name of Hillary Clinton as if she would be a good POTUS.

Dennis: Noticed a USMCsticker in your truck. Are you a former/current marine? The only reason I mentioned the leaders of other countries is that, they are also affected by this problem not only America. The threat is spreading like wild fire and it's real. We have to join hands to eliminate this group before it swallows us all, right? We have shown them the way by making the numerous air strikes, but right now, where are they? We have yet to read jet fighters from England, France and other powerful countries joining the air strikes. Again, are the Americans going to make the ultimate sacrifice to make the world safe and while they continue to watch in the sideline and do nothing to help?
I mentioned John McCain because he wants the American troops to remain in Iraq indefinitely, to fight and die there where one half of its people hated America! Is it worth it? Recently, he made a proposal to bomb the Islamist militants' headquarters in Syria. Syria knew about their existence there, so why don't they do it? why did he even proposed America to do it?
We know war is hell and costly both in terms of lives lost and money spent Possibly that's what stopping other countries from joining. That said don't blame the POTUS for not "jumping to the fire" immediately,
because once we get involved, there is no turning back!
You mentioned something about the "glue that gets these countries together". And that "Obama is not such a leader". Well, Obama started the action weeks ago but still they don't want to join! So what else to you want from him? Please, don't say you want him to sent ground troops to fight and die? Believe air strikes are far more effective, more so if joined by other countries.
