Another Tachnid Fly with it's hairy butt... These are predatory flies... I was typing this post when my dog started barking like crazy at the front boor... I went & looked to see what he was barking at & saw a small Box Turtle coming up to the door. I went out, collected it, got my camera & took some pictures of it before releasing it out back...I will put them up in the "Close up" forum later...
