Country vacation home for the wife

My wife has always desired a little country home that she could fix up and decorate. Something cozy for quick weekend trips and summer vacations. Well I found this place and thought it would be perfect for her. Recently took her to see it...told her she could prep and paint the house while I was fishing and maybe put some window treatments up too.

That is a nice looking fixer-upper, but she should do the loafing, and you should do the fixing up, unless she is much better at doing everything than you are. :-P :-P :-P

We have a solution for you. You fix up the outside, and she can fix up the inside.

Worse! Actually the photo was taken from about 100 yds. as the property was fenced off and posted.

You are talking to the wrong man...those days have been over for years now. Painted the inside/outside of our house three times and now it gets hired out.

Nice candidate for some adjustments and HDR or ToneMapping treatments!! Has LOTS of possibilities --as far as photos go, maybe not so much for rehabbing the actual building!! LOL!

Women just don't seem to have a man's vision in those things. It could be perfect with a few thousand at Home Depot and a well selected crew of craftsmen from Angie's List. Nice setting too.
