Ms. Byers is a reporter for the St. Louis Post Dispatch. And has tweeted that her sources in the police have told her that they have found more than a dozen witnesses that collaborate officer Wilson's version of the shooting of Michael Brown.

The question that I have is that if this turns out to be true, keeping in mind that this tweet is hardly proof of anything, but if it does indeed prove to be true, will it be easy for those witnesses to testify on behalf of the officer? Given the rush to judgement by the community and many members of the national press, and then add to that the events of the last 10 days will these witnesses, if they do exist, feel free to testify without facing ostracization in their communities? Will they possibly be in fear of physical threat to themselves and their families if they step forward and tell a side of the story that the community just does not want to believe or even hear?

Can and will justice actually be served in Ferguson MO?
