different sunset last night

I had everything all set, then as the sun descended to the horizon, these big ole clouds jumped in the way. The 1st pic shows the sun , barely, in the middle but the clouds opened up and got the 2nd shot, then 15 minutes later the color bathed the clouds just beautifully

The clouds might have gotten in the way but I think the first picture is gorgeous. Sometimes the clouds just make it prettier. The other two are also very pretty.

Oddly enough, I think #1 stands out. The other two are good but usual. #1 is dramatic, nicely composed and unexpected.

BIGMAC, These photos are almost spiritual to me. I am uplifted by their beauty. They make me think that scripture might read "And God created the heavens and then made an Ugly Hedgehog with a camers to record it all"
