Uninstall the update. That'll put things back the way they were.

The one extra thing you'll have to do is click on the upper left "View installed Updates" link then select the updates you installed most recently and follow the uninstall steps in the video.

I really am not trying to sound Sarcastic _ I got tired of Windows Crap about Five Years ago and now own all Mac's and NO PROBLEMS...Ihave not had to de-frag, run virus crap and go in and spend hours cleaning out virus crap..

I did the same. The graphics for the pics are great. I just have to up my ram from 4 to 16.

In windows, go to control panel->add-remove programs->then find the windows update that was done recently (usually near the bottom of the list), click on it and uninstall.

I used to manage the IT infrastructure for a 2.5 billion dollar bank with 250 Windows 7 user desktops spread out across 5 locations on the San Francisco peninsula- plus 65 Microsoft 2003 / 2007 Servers spread across 2 data centers in California & Colorado.

A bad patch like this one could grind the business right into the ground which is why we always waited 30 days after the patch was released to do a system wide install. The auditors hated us for not doing a 7 day release schedule but we were always vindicated by this kind of press release.
