This was taken a few years back at a similar time of year.
Noticed it during a 'sort'. I, like many others, have fallen into the trap of PP. Nothing wrong with PP, but was judging my pics on how much PP would this image would take.
Bad mistake, which I freely admit to. But was pleasantly surprised to find quite a few images which were perfectly acceptable OOC.
An example here, not perfection, but acceptable.
Taken with a Canon G10.

The layers of colors drawing your eye up the hill - very, very pleasing!

Very nice...

A thought here on the composition....

A puzzle company would be a likely sale candidate for this image. I can fully imagine a 1000 piece puzzle on the table with a few diehard puzzle addicts gathered around.

I'm serious... this has all the elements that make a good, fairly difficult but doable jig saw puzzle.

Thank you Linda for your kind response. I think you chose the word I was looking for, "pleasing". I appreciate your comments.

Thank you for the very kind comment. I can see where you are coming from, but only considered the fact it was ex camera.
You've got me thinking now! lol

You also tend to miss much at home because you are used to it. That is a lovely view and good picture of it.
In the 60's my Grandmother noticed a lot of cars with out of state plates were stopping on the road near her house and people getting out with cameras etc. One day she walked out to talk to some people. They showed her that the little 2 lane blacktop that went by her house was in a major tourist guide of scenic drives in the US and the stretch from her tobacco barn to the corner 50 yards past the house was marked as a prime spot with a note to see it in the fall. She said she turned and looked the way they were, it was a beautiful view. It was just that she had lived in that house since birth in 1898 and it had become just "home", nothing special or exotic, just home.

Thank you for looking and taking the time to comment. I've come to realise exactly what you have said. I live in a lovely part of my country. Only in later life did I realise how interesting the area was. From coast to inland beauty is little in miles, but covers a vast range of scenery. I'm now desperately trying to record as much as I can and to share where possible.
Thanks again.

Spectacular shot - looks like something out of a childrens story book.

Yes, the little details captivated me, like the animals in one pasture, and the hay rolls in another. Those are the little telltales that one looks for in puzzle solving.

Furthermore, the puzzled companies must pay somebody for those wonderful scenics with just the right details in them.

Submit and see.????
