D7100/Nikon 55-300mm.

The Laughing Kookaburra (aka Laughing Jackass) is an Aussie icon. He is a large member of the Kingfisher family, & his raucous laughter is regularly heard at daybreak & sundown in country areas. He feeds on mice & such, but can sometimes be seen sitting on a fence post with a snake or a lizard hanging from his beak. When his laughter is heard in the middle of the day, it usually indicates that there will be heavy rain in a couple of days. Please download for a better view.

Cute little bird but his beak looks way to big for his head. Never seen one. Would love to hear one!
