My very first shot with the Nikon Meade combo. I shot this photo with my Nikon D600, Meade 8" f/10 2000mm & KALT 3X Teleconverer.
I picked up a little noise in the PP bring in the Clarity. Does anybody have any experience with this kind of combonation???

Just saw your post about two months late... I have an old Dynamax 8 SCT scope and use it to take Moon photos but lately I have been using my Tamron 150-600mm with double-stacked Kenko Pro TCs for moon shots... I did use my scope to take a photo of a distant chain-link fence, the bird flew away before I had it focused, just to see how it would turn out... I am wanting to use it for distant bird shots but haven't done so yet... the birds would need to be relatively stationary to get their photos... I would need to have a good vantage point to do it... I haven't had time to do it yet but hopefully I'll try some shots next year... I have a few ideas where I could go to test it out... have you done anything else with it since August?

Wow, that's what I need for some of these birds I see and want to take pictures of. Very Cool!

That is a really great shot of the fence. Sometime in the next 3 months I plan on getting the Tamron 150-600mm.
I hope it will get the Deep Space shot I want with the 2x and 3x TC's I have.
Please post your shots here. Would like to see your work Bruce.

Last nights work and please don't make fun of the Collimation I'm working on that today. It's way out. But I'll get there.

Start a post with your Tamron 150-600 I would really like to see what it can do in the hands of a regular Joe like us.
