I intend to subscribe to LR/PS CC, however my trial has only one day remaining. How many PC's can I download LR on to? I don't want to subscribe while using my old PC if that uses up one of my allowable downloads of LR, especially when my new PC will be here next week.
Use a new e-mail to sign up and you get 30 days again....

You can run LR on more than one machine provided you do run the program on both machines at the same time.

Thanks searcher. You really know your stuff!

I think you meant to say "don't run both at the same time"

Absolutely - Thanks for pointing out my error.

I have lightroom installed on 3 computers. However, I have to make sure to log out of one before opening on the 3rd. If I don't Lightroom ( the cloud) will ask if I want it to automatically log me out of the other 2 so that it can open. If I say yes, then when I return home with the laptop, I just need to log in again. It isn't a big deal. You can be in 2 at a time but not 3. It could be installed on 3 , 4 or more computers as long as only 2 are opened at once.

As for the expiring issue, you can go ahead and subscribe to the cloud, it won't make any difference on your installation due to the above info.
Is it possible to run CC on 3 computers if none of them has cloud access at that time?

Its a good question, if I am working in PS on a large project, I always turn off the internet to stop interruptions from email etc.
Never had a message from anyone to say turn it back on again.

My guess is that 2 is max. When I start the 3rd it requires that one of the other 2 be logged out but "allows" it to be done from online. So, if neither or the other 2 have inet access then maybe.. The cloud is supposed to allow 3 months of not being connected before it shuts you off. According to Adobe this is to allow for people that carry their laptops on trips and don't have inet access for a given time. At 3 months it will either shut down or require inet access to verify your account.

So, can you turn back your computer clock and get more than 3 months?

No it has nothing to do with your computer clock and everything to do with the cloud talking to the software. The turning back the computer clock trick ended years ago and almost all software developers know how to get around that. Adobe is being good at realizing that many photographers take their laptops with them on safari etc and are not in touch with the net for a month or so at a time. 3 months is also the billing cutoff if you haven't paid your bill.
I wonder if Adobe actually runs its valuable programs Id through your email address alone. I think Adobe would check your email, and most assuredly the computer IP address. But, when I downloaded PS CC, and LR CC, I checked about the licenses and found you can download the programs on two machines with no problem, or extra cost. Also, you can cancel the program on a machine by disabling the program, or calling Adobe Customer Service. When my hard drive crashed, and was replaced on my laptop, I called them and they cancelled the program, and then allowed me to reload the program on the new hard drive. Adobe does protect their programs, but will work with you should you have a problem with their licensing.
