Hi, JR. Thank you for the nice compliment.

To answer your question, essentially no I didn't rely on plugins for anything but a minor bit of vignetting as a final step. Opened the file in ACR, cropped for final print size, adjusted for lens correction and exposure curves based on my lens/camera and metering method, then did minor adjustments for exposure, contrast, shadows, highlights, etc.

In PS, I applied a WB I programmed as an action, then used Image>Adjustment>Black and White. Did some burning and dodging, applied a high pass filter for sharpening, and finally did a bit of vignetting using NIK Color Efex Pro. I hope this answers your question completely.
