I suppose you want one of each. I have a brother-in-law in Arlington and he would probably not like me if I sent one to someone other than him.

I have no really good excuse except if I get them picked I can freeze them and then in the middle of winter I can be making jam. I have 3 gallons frozen already. I also do jalapeno jelly so will be picking the peppers soon and freezing them also. I also have a jelly maker that makes it so easy to do. So no good excuses..

Luscious looking blackberries. Great photos. I think I live close enough to you that I could smell the blackberry cobbler from your oven. Do you live close to MF,Or. I know some by that name who live there. Richard

Nice shot of the Himalayan blackberry clusters. I gre up in the NW and probably picked a thousand pounds of these back in the day. It's hard to imagine they are considered a noxious species. I well remember cutting acres of these down on people's lots as a part time job in high school.

These aren't too noxious as they are thornless. This is the third year and so far the heaviest yield. I would not be picking them if they were wild but I sure did when I was a kid and lived in the Williamette valley.
