We went ice fishing on Lake Champlain Vermont today. Very, very, windy, but not too cold. we had a great time!

It was very windy, but temps were high 30's to low 40's. A big change from last Sunday when we went ice fishing and it was 0 degrees when we arrived at the lake!

Your photos are awesome! Your BIG fish puts our 1 perch to shame... we went fishing yesterday and it was miserable, wind blew so hard that sunshine did not do much good. I did get a few photos but nothing as nice as yours~!

Thank you Bunny Jean, It was wicked windy here too. We have a portable fishing shanty, and we had to tie a rope and piece of 3 x 4 to it and drill a hole to put the 2 x 4 into the ice to anchor it down, or it would have taken off down the ice. I was noticing this morning, that I have a stiff neck from trying to hole myself against the wind!

You are braver than I...Just too darn cold, maybe if the fish had been biting! Noticed the few braves ones around us were not catching anything so we packed it up...Take care of that neck, I read what you meant and not what you typed, kinda funny!!!

Had to laugh when I saw #1. It looks like the cab of an old truck as rest of truck sinks. Then right to the right of that looks like a black cowboy hat floating on the surface. LOL Good pictures.

Well, I also enjoy fishing but prefer not being too cold doing it. We managed a short time yesterday while it was 72 degrees. That Pike is great & looks to be good eating.
