Some pics from today all shot with a SMC M 100mm F4 Macro from the 80's with 65mm of ext. tubes the old Pentax macros were only 1:2 with the tubes it is a little better than 1:1. No cropping all full size.

I viewed all of your macros at full enlargement. All are quite good, and your fist image is superb!
I encourage you to do a little cropping to remove excess background. Most of your image would do nicely in square format.
