Hey Bud!!

Welcome to the "Hog"!! I shoot with the T3i and the same lenses you have. Adding to your camera bag depends on what you're shooting, your budget and your understanding of what the different lenses will do.

To quick-answer your question, if you've spent this amount of money on your equipment so far, you should protect the lenses you currently have. A Tulip Hood can aid in decreasing sun flares, but doubles as protection of your lens in case of an accidental drop. They're inexpensive.

I also have a Circular Polarizing Filter for when I shoot landscapes. There are times to use these and times when not to. There are tutorials on the web on how to properly use these and will result in a better shot. It will protect a lens against scratches and I recommend buying a high quality polarizer. A decent one will run around $80.

I shoot tons of landscape and find my 55-250mm compresses the image on long shots and makes my photos look flat. I'm personally looking to add a super wide angle (in the range of 8mm) at some point. This will exaggerate the foreground and add greater depth of field.

It's taken me a year, but I've gone from shooting in "P" or Apeture Priority to completely shooting in Manual and completely understanding the technical side of my camera. The T3i is an awesome entry-level camera, but you could go broke with all the lenses and such that are out there.

Welcome! what you have will keep you busy for awhile. In time as you shoot more you may find certain situations that you feel that you need a different lens or flash. This will come with experience. Lens shades do have a purpose and I would recommend them. Have fun.

You asked about additional lens. However, for what its worth I would make my next purchase a Canon Speedlite.
