dang spider left

I was out in the garden picking some tomatoes this afternoon when I noticed a spider (which I think was a wolf spider) running round and round in one of the pots. He looked like he was freaking out. So I ran back to the house to get my camera and don't you know it, he was gone by the time I got back to the garden. Searched, but couldn't find him.
