( this is in parentheses so only the ladies will read. That's what rlaugh/Treepusher says to do. These are posted, not for art or photo skill, but just for fun. We had our grandgirl (age 6) all week and trying to find fun things to do to keep her occupied, interested, and active is a challenge...she has the attention span of a flea. But I remembered that once upon a time we made Hollyhock dolls and played. Alas, hollyhocks not blooming this year but the hibiscus seemed to do the trick altho' too large for the hats. So we used petunias. Then I let her take pictures. And then we played. Kept us both busy for maybe and hour...) :?

Great idea Carlysue and if she took these photos you'd best hide your camera.Lovely.
Great stuff, we need more creative moments like these in our lives so our children won't be sucked in to the oblivion of I pads or X boxes or whatever it is now days!

Great shots and creativity, carlysue, well done. Your grandgirl is as cute as the dolls, looks like she is having fun
What could be better than using the imagination? Very creative, CarlySue, and I'll be she'll remember that all the days of her life. Nice going.

Thank you everybody for taking a look and for your generous comments. It was a fun week and now I remember why I had my children when I was in my early twenties. BMac, I also have a 15 year old grandgirl!( I was born at a very early age.) She did learn to play Dominoes, Marbles, PinBall; we went to the Fair and rode roller coasters, and raced down the giant slide. We went to the park and played on the swings and fed the ducks. I learned about Hair Chalk and Shrinky Dinks and we made pretzels. We gave each other manicures and pedicures. We did not watch TV or play on the computer. I think my week is done. :D

Well I'll be....I opened this up and all I see is curvy lines...no typing...is carlysue trying to keep a secret from us Treepusher??...or did she put something a little racy in there??...or is she talking bad about us behind our back??...I hate those curvy lines!!!....(Treepusher...if carlysue wasn't so nice we could call her "GRANNY..GRANNY"...LOL)
Great fun and imagination carlysue...you are very clever!!
