This jeep owned by my neighbor. He is a skilled mechanic and kept it for more than 40 years and still functions good. He is not willing to replace it with the new fashioned cars.
Nice Jeep. I don't blame him for keeping it.

That's a beauty. I had a green 1969 like that, without the funny roof or the Warn hubs. That hard top was a great addition - much quieter and warmer in the winter, when I would plow snow. The big problem with Jeeps of that era was rust. In the northeast USA, we get tons of salt dumped on the roads in the winter, and that gets the rust started.

I wish it was setting in my garage.
Years ago a good friend of mine had an old military jeep. He would go the places where the newer ones were mudding. When they got stuck he would drive around to the front and offer to pull them out for $20. If they agreed he also made them do the hookup.

Hopefully he will not pull me out, I have chains for all four wheels.
Beautiful old Jeep farrokh ... don't blame your neighbor at all for refusing to part with it. New cars, for the most part, just can't compare to the older ones IMO of course.
That jeep looks very well cared for! I don't blame him for keeping it! Good for him1
