Moose at Brainard Lake

Brainard Lake lays next to the continental divide near Ward, Colorado, USA. After flyfishing on the St Vrain, as we drove by the lake, we noticed three bull moose, their summer velvet racks glistening in the sun, browsing on the willows by the water.

Thanks! We saw them at 3pm which is late in the day to see moose generally. They were stocking up on the green willow branches.

Thanks Gene. It was a first to see three big mature bull moose together.

Linda, do you see many moose where you live in Maine. Besides Colorado, Maine is my favorite state.
