This house is in a park near my home where I often walk my dog. I decided to take a detail shot of the house. I liked the play between the side planking and the door. Hope you like it. Comments welcome.

The sepia always warms up a photo - and you are right on about the contrasting angles of the door. That is a really great pic!

I like the B&W version a lot.

thanks for taking a look. I agree with you about the sepia. For wood structures and brick, I almost always like sepia.

Interesting observation. I usually like the sepia with wood because it seems to lend a certain warmth and richness. I do really appreciate your input. I'm not sure I agree with you; but it is a different way to look at the photo. Thanks.

I believe I agree with you. Sepia is very good with wooden structures. Thanks for the input.

I'm another who prefers the sepia in this case. For me, it adds more character. The B&W seems cold and dreary which might appeal to those who are suffering in the heat.

Both are interesting and eye-catching, but the sepia is perfect :)

Really good photos. I like old things especially since I am old.

I appreciate the input. I think you are spot on. The black and white is not exactly the look I'm going for here.

Agreed, I think it is going to have to be sepia. Thanks Linda.
