hi everyone. we're new to the site. I thought i'd set up this thread to post on. they wont all be 'keepers' but if theyre posted, it means they made us smile AND what better to share with people than a smile :) if anyone feels like editing any of the pics posted, feel free to. love seeing others visions and talents.

also, if anyone knows the names of any birds or insects posted, please let us know. we'd love to identify all in our yard. thanks!

The first one looks like Starlings. Nice Mallard pics. Here is a Downy woodpecker trying out the hummer feeder and a Monarch on a coneflower.
OP's second image is a nymph of either an ambush bug or an assassin bug. Without knowing geographic location, we cannot be more specific.

tyvm for that info. I have so much enjoyment getting pics of them that ive been trying to track down the 'common' names of each assassin bug we have.... harder to do than you would think lol
