40th wedding anniversary in 2 weeks wife is going to "surprise me" with d810, however she's unaware about d610, to her one camera looks just like another camera, she thinks its d90 i had few years ago. so i am selling to help pay for anniversary island vacation in january. also that price not sure of might be a little more with batt. grip. i have receipt and boxes. purchased at stroud foto in stroudsburg, another 100 with grip.i love my wife and i think i'll love a 810 too

The added grip is what made it a fair price. Body only, factory refurbished with warranty is $1679. Body only as used with no warranty is worth around $1500. Even if you have factory warranty time remaining on your body it makes no difference as that warranty is not transferrable to a new buyer.
