I have just edited a few more from my excursion North last week. I trust you will enjoy them. I added some man-made structures as well. As a general rule, I stay away from man-made stuff as it isn't my interest or strength in photography. please use the download button.

The day we went to visit the falls trail was our 23 anniversary, so I thought I would take the very, very seldom shot with me in it.

Thank you. I always post too many shots, but they were fun to capture. The lighting for many of these shots was very difficult. Thank goodness I shoot in Raw. It really makes some images possible.

Erich,
Thanks for the comment, as usual. The timing for the wave shot was in in about 40 exposures from different angles. I would just wait and when the right wave hit, I would press the shutter release on continuous. I would get about four frames to choose from from each wave.

Nice millipede! Got my attention. Flowing water nicely captured, as well.

I thought you might like the invert. I found him on the forest floor wandering about. I have shot the ones around here, but they never have the colors that were on this guy. He was way cool. Thanks for viewing the images Douglas.
I value your acknowledgements.

I figured that is how you did it, and I was pretty sure that was not the first take. Still, the end result is spectacular regardless of the method. Nice work.

Thanks for sharing. I was out that way 2 years ago and your shots brought back some smiles.Really like the simple ones -leaves etc. as they remind me there is beauty everywhere. Nice shots. RICH

Thanks Erich. The spot in which I was going to shoot the next series got covered by a sudden splash. I am glad I didn't move any closer.
