nice, informative non-partisan video.
Short and clearly stated explanation. I don't think either party should be able to gerrymander districts to suit one party or the other rigging elections. I wish we would change too.

Excellent explaination. It happens here too. Examples;
1979 - CONSERVATIVES (Margaret Thatcher)53% of the house on 44% of the votes - majority of 43.
1983 - CONSERVATIVES (Margaret Thatcher) 61% of the house on 43% of the votes - majority of 144.
1987 - CONSERVATIVES (Margaret Thatcher) 58% of the house on 42% of the votes - majority of 102.
I not sure but I don't think a Conservative Government has ever won more than 50% of the votes.
Majorities of that magnitude defeat the point of democracy as even with a few rebels the sitting party will always win - and with no recourse until the next election (should they let you have one?) you're pretty much stuffed.
I voted for the Tories during these times but have grown to resent it as we are now left with a broken country. I feel that in selling of everything under the guise of private enterprise doing it better they abrogatted thier responsibility to provide an infrastructure for the Country - something any Government should be ashamed off.

Very interesting for anyone but especially me because they took PA and showed how it was gerrymandered. Thank you for posting the link.
