A while back I saw a video of some guy who could balance any objects. Multiple objects, too, I think.

I would say it's by human hands. I remember seeing balanced rock displays in the SF Bay area several years ago.
Looks like photoshop masking
I saw Adrian Gray last weekend at Lyme Regis beach balancing rocks but his were a bit more unbelievable as they were more on the side of the rock instead of on top.

I think they might be the remnants of an ancient lava flow.

I notice how you very cleverly hid the bottom of the standing rock. Humm . . . I think the answer lies in the hidden portion of the photo.
