I worry when I take my USB to a place to get prints made from my digital photos.
So far I have not picked up anything but it could happen.

If I had to do that, knowing what I know now, I'd get a cheap USB and toss it after they did the printing.

Just this morning my daughter was discussing my granddaughter's back to school list and one of the items was usb flash drive. I told had some unused ones. Some months back B&H had sale of sanddisk 4 or 8 GB, I bought ten.
That article makes one appreciate those old round things we use store data and pictures on. What were those things called?

That's why I (my software) scans Anything & Everything plugged in that was else where, my software will even scan blank disks when inserted...

Staples has pink 8GB flash drives for $6.
