I watched the video but towards the end I felt he was being sponsored by Fuji. Don't get me wrong, Zac is a renowned strobist and I respect his work but the pointer slapping was a little over the top :)

Ya I have that stubborn part of me that posts things like this lol. I swear I have to stop the provocation lol ;). I'm thinking that Mr Arias sleeps with the Fuji next to his pillow :). He seems to always add a little fun and entertaining to his videos.

Looking at the responses to these things is more entertaining to me. I love the one response that says:

That's a good video and he makes a great point.
But I'm predicting that we'll see a Crop VS FF? thread within the next week here on the 'hog and I'd also be willing to be that the same advice gets tossed out.

His point is still, bigger is better. Now where is that 8x10 digital? Besides that, it's a Fuji commercial.

8x10 digital does exist. or at least, it did exist. ever seen a scanning back for a large format camera? Crazy stuff. they usually are tethered devices and the big ones use a linear CCD like a flatbed scanner that literally does a scan and capture of the focal plane.
these beasts usually require a tether to a computer and a separate power supply. it's an old piece of tech, and slower than a drunken sloth. the 4x5 scanner i saw years ago took almost 2 minutes to do an exposure. so they are mostly used for architecture and studio settings.
