i have a weird question to ask, when the SD card is in my camera i see a certain picture but when my SD car is connected to my lap top the picture does not show up?
It may be a glitch but try this: load the SD card into your computer. Click on the SD icon on your computer desktop and look for the folder containing the photos. If you are computer savvy you know the only way to erase it is to trash it so don't worry about messing it up otherwise.
I have a Mac and if I remove my SD card from my computer prior to ejecting/trashing it sometimes causes this glitch.
i dont know why it just dosent work

i tried now to take a test shot ,and than i loaded the sd card to my computer and those pics and that one prior pic is not showing up?
Put card in camera and do a format on it, that should stop it. Otherwise doubt the cards ability to record properly.
um you may have a spy wear bug it happens , i get them now and then if you empty all you're cooky's and then do a spy sweep then a disk clean about 4 or 5 times , then after you do all of that use a thumb drive and the SD card at the same time don't click the thumb just the SD and you should see all you're photo's , sounds wearied i know but it works ;)
my raw file do not show up until i open them in photoshop
I'm trying to learn how to correct my problem, but when I shoot in Raw my card is blank on my computer.
Not sure if this is the same problem, but I have had the situation come up that photos I've taken will show up as I go through them in the camera, but won't transfer to my computer when I go to download them. What I've found is that if I do a directory search I'll find an .xmp file on the card. If such a file exists, the .nef (Nikon's raw format) file with the same name will not transfer. ie. if there is a 1004.nef and a 1004.xmp on the same card, the .nef file will not transfer upon downloading and the .xmp file doesn't transfer OR delete with the other files. You have to manually delete any .xmp files that show up on your card.

Your computer will not understand RAW without the proper software that will read RAW files.
What program are you using to see your pics?
Does your camera have both an internal memory and SD card. Had a similar problem and discovered the pix were on my internal memory. Had to copy them to the SD card and then download them. Just a thought.
Be forewarned...formatting the card will erase everything that is on it.
