Looks like the herd arrived early for their dinner visit this evening!

So nice to look out the back window and see wildlife!

Thanks Linda, we may be the only ones in the neighborhood that see them each night and enjoy watching them. The rest of the neighbors seem too busy....

BUT, that does not bother me at all!

Couple of cuties there ... good shots.

I used to have a small herd of deer living down in the back of my pasture but have only seen a couple of older females this year, not sure what's going on. Really enjoy sitting on the deck and 'not watching' them (they get nervous if I stare so I look at them on the sly :) )

Thanks... it is tough to catch them in decent light sometimes, but these worked out well.

Thanks!

We have had a herd of 8-10 come out of the woods every now and then to eat along the edge of the woods. The bucks are real skiddish, the doe will stare and stomp at us at times.

We try not to stare at them either, some feel comfortable though and don't run even if we are outside watching them.
