Fly Tying VIII

Here are a few more of my flies. You're probably starting to get bored with these, but I haven't been able to get out lately to do any landscapes. I promise I'll post something different tonite.

Is that second hook on the circus peanut attached to the eye,shank or both of the front hook.

The rear of the fly is tied first. The mono is passed through the eye of the second hook and tied to the shank of the first hook. Then the rest of the front of the fly is tied over that.

A muddler tied in this fashion would work great i think.

I don't think I've ever seen an articulated muddler before. I've seen a number of variations, but never articulated. I'm gonna have to do a search for that now and maybe try tying some.
