Welcome to the Hog, MaggieCr. You'll find lots of friends & plenty of good advice here. Just because you have a PS camera doesn't mean you can't take good photos. You just have some limitations that other cameras don't have. Looking forward to your posts.

Don't be worried about a point and shoot, just enjoy it. Photographers take pictures, not cameras.

Thanks :-D Nick. Yeah, I've taken several good pics with my camera. Just can't do stuff like long-distance and birds, but I will get a new one some day that will do all that.
