Beautiful shots. I like them all. The dragonfly looks like he is holding a microphone. Probably just my imagination working overtime. Spider is very well done. Great lighting.

These are all very nice shots, excellent color and detail. I especially like how you controlled the background illumination.
Thank you Walt, I appreciate your comments.

Lucky kids! Wish I could have been one of them. Best orbweaver shots I've ever seen! Download and + enlargement is amazing.
Kids were very cool, sponges for information. Very appreciative of the efforts taken to teach them as well. We should meet up at Tom's place and have a Texas Macro hootenanny...
You haven't seen many orb weaver shots, have you..... ;-)

Thanks Dennis - I hadn't thought about the dragonfly being a crooner but now that you mention it, I can see it.

I guess it could be an ice cream cone too. That is what I thought when I just looked at it again a few minutes ago. Maybe I need my nap. Good shots though.

I thought a match stick but I can see and ice cream cone too. Your comments demonstrate the need for a good perch when photographing insects. Naps are good, I enjoy mine on the weekends after a long hike.
