I believe image #10 is the best of this group.

Thanks much, Douglass, I agree with number 9 a close second. The way the light illuminates the butterfly really lights up its beauty. Pun intended.
Feel free if you wish to name these things because to me, as you well know, are just butterflies.
Now maybe Bill will stop nagging me and/or go with us the next time.

Maybe on both:wink:
Good shots Dennis. Maybe #4&5 could be just a tad lighter.

Hey, Bill, I totally agree. I believe those were among my first shots and I was trying to get the flash set. No excuses just what happened. Thanks for looking.

Have you tried adjusting them in PP? Post is another whole thing I need to learn. Of course getting it right in camera is what I strive for....not always possible though.

Yes I have. The black one with the orange body was very dark so this is the best it is going to get for me.

Thanks for the nice comment. I found these at the local museum of natural history.

#10 is a good shot but I prefer the first photo the best. Good resolution on all these photos.

I love the composition of number 2 best followed closely by number 3. Dennis, I notice you have used 1/60 s. - you must have a very steady hand. Well done, all are really nice.

Thanks, Brenda. I value your comments. I did have the camera set on 1/60 s but then Douglass suggested I use 1/200 s. I went to 1/180 as I don't have a 1/200. I am almost ready for my number 2 installment. Hopefully those will look good too.
