If anyone is thinking about getting a Canon 5D, check E-Bay's Deal of the Day. They are offering brand new 5D MarkIII at a $750 discount from list.
Maybe Canon is clearing out their inventory for a new model?

That does not show up on any of my deal of the day stuff on Ebay..
The 70D shows up as the tech deal of the week though. $450.00 off.

You get it for that price or even less on Ebay every day, just remember its a grey market camera and you will get no Canon USA warranty cards nor a valid bill of sale, so no USA based warranty service available. (Maybe "store" warranties, which usually are totally worthless.)
I don't subscribe to that feed.

I would be very surprised if a 5D Mark IV came out this year.
Looks like photoninny is right on the price but MTShooter is very right on the warranty. "If it's Grey stay away" or you could end up a big looser. It may say NEW but then again who bounced it around and where did it come from. Stick with MTShooter on this one and you'll be ok.................
Have also looked at "cheapest price for Canon 5D MKlll" via google. Found a couple of sites offering a new one for sale for $1995.00 If memory serves correctly, one was AJRitchie, and one was Overstock.com. Don't know if these are actual re-sellers or just a marketing site. Even if grey market, if seller warranty's are available, it appears to be a tempting offer. Have not gone beyond viewing sites for prices. I am sure there is more to the story. There usually is.
you're not helping my G.A.S....:)
gemlenz, as good as your pics are on you webpage, a little G.A.S. won't hurt you to much..................lol
thx for the compliment. Actually I'm waiting for the 7DII.

Or perhaps this is a scam and all they really want is your credit card number... be very careful because ebay has become a dumping ground for every thinkable scam out there.
Well i know the new 7d mark ii was tested at the world cup so before Xmas that'll be released but as for the 5d range a little bird said early to mid next year.

I totally agree why $750 when in stores they are still going for $3000 (aust) if it's too good to be true it probably is.
