My normal jumper plus two new jumping 'kids on the block' as well as some other insects which I haven't had time to research IDs for yet - any suggestions in that area would be welcome and save me heaps of time.

I believe your last image (#10) is Spilostethus pandurus. Take a look here, nearly halfway down: http://www.infojardin.com/foro/showthread.php?t=198523&page=52
Image #9 may be nymph of same, or nymph of similar.

Lookin' good, Kiddo!

Thanks Douglass, as you suggested I found my bug on the link you gave. As for #9, I looked up the nymph of my bug which looked a bit different but of the same type. I will look further and report back when I find it for sure. My bug was on a tomato plant and I have seen them in previous years, often in twos, but this is the first this year.

Thanks Yooper 2 - I'm getting quite fond of them now and there seems to be such a large variety although perhaps the more delicate and prettiest ones are in the US.

Wow, thanks Bob, that has saved me some time. It was so tiny I could hardly see it. Drosophila melanogaster

My word, someone has been busy lately. Very very well done, Brenda. I like them all. Mary is a little cutie. I can see why you like her.

Thanks Dennis, I was a bit lucky last night. How are you doing, have you shot anything much lately?
