Our local Volunteer Fire Dept Hosts an annual "Extreme Day" as its major fund raiser. The event includes mud races, motorcycle, and 4-wheeler racing, as well as an obstacle course "Tough Truck race". It was a lot of fun to shoot. I used a Canon 5DIII with a Sigma 150-500

Somebody took some great action shots. Well done.

Excellent action shots. The one of the kids is my favorite. Looks like they were having a blast getting muddy!
And a dirty good time was had by all. Thanks for posting. Fun set.
Wonderful images of what must be a very popular fundraiser!

Great ones, Tony. Wish I was there. :-) :-)
Look at the expressions on the faces of the kids in that last shot. Pure joy ... what a cool picture!!!
What a great idea for a fund-raiser and you've documented this VERY well! Excitement, Fun and Skills all presented!

Thanks Cosmo, it was great fun. This is the first time using the 150-500. It let me shoot right down the course, without getting run over.

Thank you very much! Some of the "kids" were a little bigger...

Thanks Linda. This is the 5th annual extreme day. It's pretty popular. It's a lot of fun, and who wouldn't want to support the volunteer fire dept?
