lived in Salem, Oregon for 56 years, got old and feeble (now 85 years old) and moved to Michigan to be with daughter and son-in-law. We recently made our first visit back to Oregon and here are some pictures taken on my little old Fuji finepix camera. I'm not a photo expert, barely qualify as an amateur. Although I was born in Ca. I think of Oregon as my "home state" It has the greatest variety of beautiful scenery of any place iv'e ever been.

Great pix. Had a Fuji Finepix as my first usable digital camera and did a lot of pretty decent photography with it. So have you.
Great photos, and I couldn't agree with you more about the beauty of this incredible state. (I'm from Canby)
Thanks for the nice comments, I'm a newbie trying to learn my way around this neat site.
Thank you, appreciate the nice comments.
Very nice, thank you for the tour.
It does look like a beautiful state. Nice photos.
My first digital was a Fuji Fine pix S 5200. Still works and use it off and on. Nice images.
Nice images. I always go to the Dahlia festival. I have not been to the Fly In at Hood River, but WAAAM is one my favorite museums.
I'm a native Californian but I could easily live in Oregon. It's beautiful and has a slower pace. Some of your photos show that slower pace, especially along the coast. I was there last summer and have a real fondness for the coastal areas.
Nice pictures.
Jerry so glad you had the chance to come "home". I have lived here all my life and can't imagine any other place I'd rather be..your pictures are beautiful. Welcome to the HOG..

Lovely shots of a lovely place Jerry...
Jerry, these are beautiful and certainly don't look like the work of someone who "barely qualifies as an amateur"! They are really good! You have a good eye!
