BC, I know this is your dream but it ain't gonna happen.
The Affordable Care Act is here to stay. It's working and people now have health insurance - some of them for the first time in their lives.
In fact yesterday was a particularly interesting day in the Federal Court System. One court said that the subsidies were illegal while another said that they were fine. Personally, I doubt the Supreme Court is going to here this case at all, leaving it to the Administration or lower courts to figure out how to keep them going.
The spirit of the law is to provide affordable health care and if you take away the subsidies you will destroy the law. This is a law passed by both house and signed by the President. It is the law and if you don't like it the remedy resides in passing a new law or eliminating it in the legislature and having it signed by the President.
Everyone should stop wasting their time on voiding the law through the court. It makes no sense and just makes the Republicans look like the stupid party that Bobby Jindal warned them about.

LOL the Democrats specifically put the clauses relating to the state exchanges into the law to entice the States to set them up.... Kinda like how the federal government does with many programs, they entice states into accepting federal money so that they can control programs.... Well it backfired on them and now the dems feel that they should not have to live in accordance with the law that they themselves wrote....

It is the Dems who are the stupid party Frank, just look around, hows the VA, how are things at the IRS, how is the rest of the ACA going, does the website yet communicate with the IRS, can income yet be verified? Does the Website track income?

No Frank, yours is the stupid party that thinks it can get things done by just saying so and then relying on the same old broken corrupted Washington bureaucracies to get things done.... What a joke!

The "stupid party" is the one that passed the law. It will eventually be overturned. Back to sleep, Frank.

Looks that way since we now have a second ruling from a different court. This means that the issue is more than likely headed to SCOTUS. Maybe this time Roberts will get his head out of his butt. :hunf:
