You can never go wrong underestimating the human race. A company in NYC has gotten approval to construct an apartment for the wealthy, and since they are allocating some space for "middle income" people, they will get a million or more in tax breaks, in addition to being allowed to make the building larger. Use the less-well-off to increase the bottom line. Win/win.

However, the middle income tenants will have to enter through a door in an alley, so that the wealthy tenants don't have to see them or, heaven forbid, enter through the same door at the same time. Can you imagine?! How humiliating that would be!

in my trade I had to deal with the very wealthy and they never have time to deal with my need to know now in order to finish my roughing the cable feeds to each compartment. This yatch was 85 foot aluminum motor yatch my last cable feed was to the galley and I had to have total amp draw to build the cable feed from the main electric locker to the galley. The madam was too busy to pick her appliances so I knew the amp draw and copper needed.
I picked up tools and headed for the floor to leave as I didn't work for the company but was contracted to wire the yatch. The general foreman asked were I was going told him to another off race boat I was wireing.
This was the last time I ever had to cater to the wims of the wealthy. One thing I did was make sure my work was better then the others in my trade and charged more they loved to pay more for braging rights.

The rich are always in the minority, and they always get the last laugh, and the first, and the one in the middle.

Yeah, that's so, but how can a person, look down on another person, their blood runs the same color. I don't do that to ppl.

Thank you for sharing this, Jerry. I got carried away trying to spell "sayeth" or however you spell it and forgot to thank you. I still haven't googled it to find the correct way. It's not a word I use often. :P

Yes, but they'd (the wealthy) would gladly accept a kidney from one of these "poor" people if they needed one.

And to top it off, we all piss in the same pot, unless they have gold plated toilets (better known as water closets in the plumbing jargon).
And there is Leona Helmsley, now deceased. Now she has assumed room temperature like the rest of the dead ones and is no longer above anyone. I say the inequality is gone once someone is in her position (horizontal that is and 6 feet under).
