There was technique but no end product.

Looks like a waste of time to me but it is a "taste" thing in a way, I suppose. Some folks seem to confuse "artsy" with "just plain goofy."

Interesting. The man spends hours and hours and hours developing new methods of using existing gear, and modifying existing techniques to come up with a new way of seeing things and you don't understand it, so it becomes "goofy" and "a waste of time."

It's good that those who think creatively do not allow the yawns of others who may be possessed of smaller vision or a simple failure to understand dictate what they create.

On the anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon mission, I wonder what life might be like had the folks at NADSA listened to those who stuffily said that putting a man on the moon couldn't be done, or that it was a waste of time, instead of trusting in John Kennedy's vision?

It's too bad that modern DSLR's don't come with a button which can be used to compensate for the shooter's lack of imagination or short-sightedness.
