I bet that will have a very limited run on TV - in very few places. :D
The point is quite valid, the props could be considered controversial. Years ago a friend of mine proudly showed me the Browning over and under from his closet. He handed it to me, I broke it open (which he should have done first) and a toy missile from one of his boys' toy airplanes slid out of the barrel! The "Ooops" look on his face was priceless. His six and eight year old boys had obviously been "playing" with it. Worse, when I was about 8 yrs old, I found a pistol and loose bullets in my mother's room. I figured out how to load it and would take it out in the woods and shoot at trees from time to time while she was at work. Kids will play with them if they can find them. I keep a lock on mine these days.

Hey, we agree on some things! Definitely not a control ad! Maybe it subliminally advocates vibrator control laws! AaaHaHa!

Maybe add an "airplane" mode like the cell phones have. Extra added value.

Years ago when I was in my early teens I noticed one of several young kids playing cops and robbers or some such was sporting what looked like a Model 1911 .45 cal autoloading pistol. I asked him if I could look at it and, sure enough that's what it was. I had read widely on guns so I knew how to remove the clip, and the clip was loaded! Good thing the Mod 1911 has several safeties. I took it to his house and his mother said, "Oh. I'll have his father remove the firing pin." Such an irresponsible, idiotic attitude to gun ownership!

if that happened today, she be furious that you interfered with her child and "damaged" a valuable gun.

Sadly, you're probably right. I wonder how she would have reacted if her precious son, little Bismuth, had potted a little playmate.
A lot of gun control is gun safety, almost exclusively so in countries with both high gun ownership and tough gun control. Norway and Switzerland for example.

Here in the USA we know the difference between Gun Control and Gun Safety.
