That Marine broke the law by bringing a firearm into Mexico. The excuse that he made a wrong turn is absolutely ridiculous. Have you ever tried to cross the Mexican border by accident. Not likely.

I have serious concerns about today's Marine's.
I am amazed and disappointed that a bunch of them have not gone over there to bring their own home.
It's a real problem that out of the entire Marine Corp we can't find 100 with a backbone.

Apparently you have not been paying attention to the salient points of his inadvertent mistake in getting in the wrong lane, which he could not get out of, thus winding up in Mexico. I have been following the story since the beginning and heard his explanation and the facts and recently one of our ambulances made the same mistake before the US changed the sign.
