Headed out to the Barker Reservoir again today. I really like this place. Already finding plenty of off the beaten path places where the scrub and briar are to thick for the average park goer to venture. Very tranquil and relaxing to not see another human being for several hours. Density of the brush makes it though to get some shots but the place teems with critters. Loads of robber flies so I have been working on capturing those with limited success so far. As I found out today Robbers aren't at the top of the food chain......
Started out the Day with this minute Hopper - No more than 3 or 4mm long.

All are great, but I love the last one.

"F/8 and be there!"
Or the Macro's credo: "F/16 & practice, practice, practice".
well done, i like em........and enjoyed the last one and warm fuzzies at the unanticipated joy we all share when our timing is just right...........and continues to feed the addiction.......
I've had worse and more destructive ones, this one keeps me off the street and in the shrubbery and mostly conscious.......

Nor did I, startled me at first as I was concentrating on the robber and then a green flash entered the frame.

Thank you Brenda. I don't think the robber would agree with your statement ;-)
