New Camera, user with MBPro question: Have had my camera 3 weeks now, love it but not enough time..9more days before i retire.. Iv'e had my macbook for about 4mo, mail,some stuff syc...

Have had my camera 3 weeks now, love it but not enough time..9more days before i retire..
Iv'e had my macbook for about 4mo, mail,some stuff syc but i notice first time i connected camera to iMac those pictures didn't come out on my laptop..Why? and should I keep my new hobby photos on MB and not have everything that is on my on iMac on my MBPro

As I understand sync on macs and imacs to have the pictures on both computers you have to connect the macbook to the iMac and open the folder with the pictures on the iMac from your macbook and import them that way. It will not automatically send from iMac to macbook.

If you "import" the photos using iPhoto and you are set up on iCloud on both your iMac and MBP the images will sync to both devices through iCloud.
