A communist, well lets see, a person who believes in a system of social organization in which all economic and social activity is controlled by a totalitarian state dominated by a single and self-perpetuating political party. Now a dictator as obama wishes to be is very similar but when one person directs and controls all aspects of a state or nation and it's people. Either one is great for a person unable or unwilling to take responsibility for their lives and would rather allow a government of elitist to make decisions for them on their behalf. Works great until the elitists decide they have no more need of your services or ideologies as millions of dead communist, socialist, marxist, have found out. Liberals or liberal thinking people and liberalism is just a minor version, or the beginning version of the above and eventually will succumb to said outcome.

I believe the question put to you was are you a communist? or I will add a liberal socialist leaning individual or a constitutional free society leaning individual?

I wonder why history shows our free enterprise economy does better under a Democratic POTUS. Republican do much better at tanking a good free enterprise economy. Not my opinion, look at history.

I wonder why radical liberals founded our free enterprise nation and the conservative Tories liked it just fine under a dictatorial King? Again, look at history.

BTW, I have never been a Democrat and I voted for Reagan and Bush 41.

I have never been a Democrat either and voted for Reagan, a great POTUS and unfortunately for Bush. With Bush there were not a lot of options, we get whoever the old world rhinos dictate recently. As it is and has been for quite some time now I have little use or respect for either party, if you can tell any difference between the parties now that difference is minute at best. I am certain the revolutionists did not think of themselves as radical liberals in the same sense as we relate to liberals now. Poop happens and ideologies along with word understanding and meaning progress ( I hate this word ) with the times.

The founding fathers made the radical liberal move from dictatorship to self-rule by Representative Democracy (A Republic) which was a new thing in 18th century, very progressive. The conservative Tories wanted to stay the traditional way with the King. The word Tory is a synonym for Conservative. The Tory party in the UK is the Conservative Party, that's what Tory means.

Is it different now? Of course! Those liberal founders were so forward thinking (Progressive) that they knew times would change, customs would change and technology would change so they made our governing document amendable. A very progressive, forward looking thing for them to do. They were genius.

On the subject of Reagan. The Presidential elections are primarily a popularity contest. Reagan was nothing if not popular. Maybe the most likeable POTUS in my life. Hard man to dislike, even if you didn't vote for him, others have said. Handsome to boot and funny too.

However, he set us on a long road toward economic devastation for most people and prosperity for a very few. While serving as Gov of California he made a speech saying "Our nation has too much earned income and not enough asset income." As President he started the long dismantling of unions and brainwashed us into "Supply Side Economics" , quickly nicknamed "Trickle Down Economics."

Any high schooler with an introductory class of economics can easily explain why by necessity a free enterprise is a "Trickle Up" economy. The only true Trickle Down economy is Communism. We've paid for that now for 35 years and the chickens have come home to roost. No major school of economics teaches "Trickle Down" they mention it because a knowledge of history can protect us from repeating mistakes.

The 1% can't take back the country that they already have! There are hundreds of grassroots orgs in the 99% that are starting to coalesce because the country belongs to them.

Reagan was likeable but his policies screwed us blue.
